Breast Augmentation (With Implants)

Some women notice a decrease in their breast size after pregnancy and nursing, or after losing weight. Others have uneven or underdeveloped breasts. Many women simply want to increase their original breast size because they like the look of larger breasts.  Depending on the size of the implant that you choose in consultation with our Doctor, the change in your appearance may be very noticeable or re-shaping. Our Doctor will spend time with you to decide what the appropriate incision, placement, implant size and implant type are necessary to best accomplish your desires.
Breast augmentation is most often performed under a "twilight" anesthetic, meaning you will be intravenously sedated, but you will not be under general anesthesia with a breathing tube. Breast Implants are designed to last, although you should expect the likelihood of replacing them eventually.
Most women need from one to two weeks of recovery time. You will also need to cut back on vigorous physical activity for several weeks .you will be able to start work in one week after surgery.
